Emotions
Emotions.org sell toilet paper subscriptions online while donating 50% of profits supporting mental health organisations such as Lifeline, Beyond Blue and The Black Dog Institute.
The problem:
The Emotions.org business model relies on small profit margins and had delivered a 1.7 ROAS over the past nine months. The goal was to reach a ROAS of 2.5 while they would be able to reach profitability. In addition, funding only allowed a monthly marketing budget of $3000.
The solution:
As part of a revenue share deal, we reworked the clients' website, developed high converting offerings (while pausing ineffective campaigns) and removed elements of the website that were decreasing conversion rates.
The result:
Within three months, we doubled revenue and reached a 3.2 ROAS. Over the next six months website conversion rates had increased from 3.5% to 5.5% and a ROAS of 5x had been achieved, double what the original ROAS goal had been (see e-commerce snapshot below). This resulted in Emotions.Org generating 4x their monthly revenue within six months of working together.
"Dan and the team at Multiply Digital have played an integral part in the growth of our business. Being able to reduce our cost to get a new client from as much as $92 to consistently around the $20 cost per acquisition not only allowed us to become profitable, but also gave our company the roadmap to gain additional investors as we continue to grow further."
